Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi takes part in training with the club for the first time this summer after ending the speculation over his future last week.

Lionel Messi has returned to training with Barcelona, three days after making a U-turn on his decision to leave the club.

The Argentina international revealed on Friday that he will remain at Camp Nou for at least another season after Barca made it "impossible" for him to leave this summer.

Messi linked up with his teammates for the first time since the end of last season on Monday as they were put through their paces by new boss Ronald Koeman.

After returning to training, Messi is now in contention to start Barca's La Liga opener against Villarreal on September 27.

Meanwhile, the six-time Ballon d'Or winner was pictured wearing Barcelona's new pink third kit earlier today.
