Lionel Messi has admitted that he 'does not know' where he will play his football next year.
The Argentine has been strongly linked with a move away from Barcelona in recent days, but seemed to quell talk of a transfer on Sunday evening.
At the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich, however, Messi has claimed that "in football, things can change overnight".
"I don't know where I'll be next year. In football, things can change overnight," Messi told reporters.
Messi is one of the finalists for the top award alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Manuel Neuer.
