Neymar has dismissed the notion that he could leave Barcelona in the near future.
The Brazilian international's father recently suggested that the 23-year-old may be forced to leave the Camp Nou and Spain because of tax issues.
However, when asked by reporters about a potential departure, the striker insisted that he has every "intention" of signing a new deal with the European champions.
"It's true that my father told me the tax issues were a problem, but we're talking all that over," he said.
"I'm still under contract and my intention is to sign a renewal, of course. I'm in the prime of my career. I'm very happy with everything I'm experiencing as I'm helping my teammates in the same way they've helped me. I hope I can improve further."
Neymar, who has scored 19 goals in all competitions this season, is contracted to Barca until the summer of 2018.
