Napoli and Bayern Munich played out a 1-1 draw in Group A of the Champions League at the San Paulo Stadium this evening.
The German side, who took a 100% record to Naples, had an early lead after young playmaker Toni Kroos slotted home.
Napoli's first-half equaliser also came off a Bayern boot as defender Holger Badstuber inadvertently directed Christian Maggio's low cross past Manuel Neuer.
Munich had the opportunity to retake the lead when a penalty was awarded after Paolo Cannavaro was adjudged to have blocked Mario Gomez's long-range effort with his arm.
Gomez stepped up but his spot-kick was saved by Morgan de Sanctis in the Napoli goal.
Bayern remain top of Group A on seven points, two points ahead of Napoli who are a point clear of Manchester City.
