Besiktas president Fikret Orman has revealed that his club have turned down an offer from West Ham United in the region of £2.3m for Canadian midfielder Atiba Hutchinson.
Hutchinson, 33, joined Besiktas from PSV Eindhoven in 2013 and has made 119 appearances for the Turkish outfit in all competitions.
Orman has claimed that West Ham made an offer for the central midfielder, but it was short of the club's asking price.
"[Slaven] Bilic suggested €3m (£2.3m) for Atiba. We rejected this proposal and thank him. Atiba has one more year on his contract with us," Orman told reporters.
Hutchinson, who can also play right-back, has represented his country on 75 occasions.
