Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer refused to hide his disappointment after Blackburn Rovers were held to a 2-2 draw by Birmingham City at St Andrew's.
Birmingham twice came from behind to clinch a point, and Bowyer believes that there was no excuse not to leave with a victory after causing so many problems for the home defence.
"We should have won the game, simple as that," the Rovers boss told reporters. "We weren't ruthless enough at both ends of the pitch.
"We should have been out of sight and the game should have been won.
"You can't expect me to come in here and be happy. I can't tell [the players] 'well done' for drawing a game they should be winning."
Blackburn, who are currently ninth in the Championship, will return to action against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
