Four unnamed Chinese clubs are ready to offer veteran full-back Michel Salgado a route out of Blackburn Rovers, according to Sky Sports News.
The former Real Madrid defender has been informed that he is free to leave Ewood Park because of a contract dispute.
The Far East has emerged as a likely destination for the 36-year-old, who is said to be considering the options handed to him.
Should Salgado complete a switch to China, he will become the second Premier League player to do so in recent weeks following Nicolas Anelka's transfer from Chelsea to Shanghai Shenhua.
Didier Drogba has also been linked with a move to the Chinese League.
