Owen Coyle expects the Bolton Wanderers players to be jeered at from the crowd following a disappointing start to their Championship campaign.

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has conceded that his side deserve to be booed by their supporters following a difficult start to the Championship season.

The Trotters, who were relegated from the Premier League in their last campaign, sit dangerously close to the drop zone, with just one point separating them from the bottom three.

"That comes with the disappointment of last season," the Daily Star quotes Coyle as saying.

"If there is any negativity, then a poor result feeds that negativity. The only way you change it is by winning games.

"The fans pay good money. They support the club home and away, through thick and thin – they're fantastic. So it's up to us to give them something positive to shout about."

The former Premier League side take on Watford tomorrow.
