Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle was left upbeat despite his side's 2-1 defeat at home to Aston Villa this afternoon.
First-half goals from Marc Albrighton and Gabby Agbonlahor have kept Coyle's side rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.
However, the Scot revealed that he was pleased with his team's second-half display which led to Ivan Klasnic's strike.
"I told the players at half time that the minimum we require is guts and desire and we got that in the second half," he told BBC Sport. "We are left to rue one sloppy 10 minute period."
The Trotters face a trip to Fulham in the league next Saturday.
