Bolton Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman won't rush into transfer market

Bolton boss Dougie Freedman insists that he will not be jumping into the transfer market following his side's 3-0 defeat to Watford.

Bolton Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman has insisted that he will not rush into the transfer market following his side's defeat to Watford.

The Trotters got their Championship campaign off to a losing start on Saturday as they were beaten 3-0 at Vicarage Road.

Despite beginning the season with a negative result, Freedman is not planning on making sweeping changes to his squad in the coming weeks.

"It's no use me coming out and saying I need to sign a new player every time we have an indifferent performance," he told the Bolton News.

"We know what players we have got and the bottom line is that we have to improve on what we did at Watford."

Bolton return to action on Tuesday when they entertain Bury in the opening round of the League Cup.
