Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has praised his side for their performance in the 4-2 win away to Zenit St Petersburg in the last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The result put Dortmund into the quarter-finals barring a home disaster in the return leg, but Lewandowski said that he and his teammates must maintain their level of performance in Germany.
"It's a really important win, especially picking up four goals on the road, but conceding two hurts," he told Bundesliga.com. "We can't take anything for granted; we're not in the quarter-finals just yet.
"The pitch conditions made it very difficult but we were determined to win this match. It was a great performance, but we've got to show we're the better side in the second leg as well. We've got to keep performing and make sure we give a good account of ourselves with our fans behind us in Dortmund."
Lewandowski scored his side's third and fourth goals on the night.
