Emotional Jurgen Klopp thanks Borussia Dortmund

Outgoing Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp hails the club and fans after his Signal Iduna Park swansong in the 3-2 win over Werder Bremen.

An emotional Jurgen Klopp paid tribute to Borussia Dortmund after his final game at Signal Iduna Park ended in victory this afternoon.

Klopp's side defeated Werder Bremen 3-2 in front of a carnival atmosphere at Wesfalenstadion to secure Europa League qualification for next season.

His last game is in Berlin next week when Die Borussen take on Wolfsburg in the DFB-Pokal final, and the 47-year-old, who won two Bundesliga titles since joining in 2008, has no regrets over his spell.

"Our seven years of being together ends next week," he said to the supporters. "We are together for the last time in this stadium, which has become my home.

"I enjoyed every second of my time here. Inside the stadium and in general. We were very fortunate to come here in 2008. It was a win-win situation.

"I take with me a bag full of the most positive memories. Thanks to each and every employee at the club. It was a great pleasure to work with you. It was an honor to be working for this club."

Dortmund finished the Bundesliga season in seventh - their lowest finish under Klopp.
