Benik Afobe's switch to Premier League side Bournemouth edged closer on Sunday afternoon as the 22-year-old completed his medical on the South Coast.
Paperwork on the four-year deal, believed to be for a club-record £10m, has now been sent over to the Premier League for completion.
The striker joined Wolverhampton Wanderers from Arsenal a year ago for just £2m and has since scored 22 goals in 43 league appearances for the Midlands side.
Sky Sports News reporter Mark McAdam told the channel: "He was with the medical staff for a good hour or so, where he went through all the formalities of a medical. That is all now completed. He spent some time in the offices and then left with his family.
"Everything is completed as far as Bournemouth are concerned. The question now is the paperwork with the Premier League. That will then get sent back to the club, to let them know they are happy with everything."
Afobe could make his debut for the Cherries when they welcome West Ham United on Tuesday night.
