Goals from Sone Aluko and Steve Davies see Bristol City and Hull go into half-time all square at 1-1.

Bristol City and Hull City have gone into half-time of their Championship fixture locked at 1-1 this afternoon.

The visitors took the lead after just eight minutes when Jay Simpson and Sone Aluko linked up before the latter lashed the ball past Tom Heaton.

Ahmed El Mohamady had a good chance to double his side's lead soon after when he ran clear of Matthew Briggs, but his shot was straight at Heaton.

The hosts pegged Hull back after 25 minutes courtesy of Steve Davies's sixth goal of the season, the striker converting from Stephen Pearson's cut-back.

Neither side could find the goal that would give them the lead before the interval as they went into the break all square.
