Steven Caulker confident of survival

Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker says that he is confident his team will escape relegation from the Premier League following their 3-1 over Fulham on Saturday.

Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker has said that he is confident his team will escape relegation from the Premier League following their 3-1 win over Fulham on Saturday.

Caulker scored a brace in the victory to help Cardiff secure a crucial win in their fight for survival.

He told Sky Sports News: "It (the win) was vital. This was a must win game and I'm delighted to get the result and put on a decent performance for the fans.

"We've got a lot of spirit and I think you saw that today. When they equalised, a lot of heads would have dropped.

"If we carry that into the next few games then I'm sure we'll stay up."

The result leaves Cardiff 18th in the league.
