Cardiff City have signed South Korean international Kim Bo-Kyung on a three-year deal from Cerezo Osaka.
The deal, which is still subject to a work permit, will be completed after the Olympics.
The winger is hoping to emulate the success of South Korean compatriot Park Ji-Sung.
Kim told Cardiff's official website: "I admire Park Ji-Sung, who has been my teacher and role model as a young South Korean footballer.
"I know he has said some nice things about me and my potential. I don't know if I will become as good a player as he says he thinks I could but I will certainly try my very best to meet expectations."
Kim started South Korea's 0-0 draw with Mexico in their first match of the Olympics.
