Johnnie Jackson to return this weekend

Charlton Athletic skipper Johnnie Jackson takes to Twitter to confirm his return to fitness.

Charlton Athletic skipper Johnnie Jackson believes that he will be fit to return to first-team action with the Championship club this weekend.

The experienced midfielder has missed his side's last three matches with a groin injury, but has taken to Twitter to confirm his recovery.

"Hopefully be fine for the weekend," the 31-year-old tweeted.

Jackson, whose current contract runs until the end of the season, has been with Charlton since 2010.

The Addicks are without a win in their last six Championship matches.
