Eden Hazard has said that he has developed a "special relationship" with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho since his return to the club.
Mourinho was appointed for a second spell in charge at Stamford Bridge in 2013, with Hazard a regular first-team player under the Portuguese boss.
The Belgian told The Independent: "It's true we do have a special relationship. What is good about him as a coach is that he lets us play. He lets me play.
"He is not always on at me and I really appreciate that. If it isn't good he says so, if it is good he says so. He is always direct."
Chelsea face Tottenham Hotspur in the Capital One Cup final on Sunday.
