Stoke City's Bojan Krkic on course to face Chelsea

Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic is expected to recover from injury in time to face Chelsea.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has revealed that striker Bojan Krkic is on course to shrug off a hip injury in time to face Chelsea next Monday.

The Spaniard sustained the injury during last weekend's 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace, but has been training during the last two days.

"It is a little bit early, but he has trained today and yesterday and we don't anticipate there will be any problems," Hughes told reporters.

"He is still a little sore given where the injury was, but we fully expect he will be okay."

Hughes is also expecting defender Marc Muniesa and midfielder Stephen Ireland to be passed fit to face Chelsea following recent injury problems.
