Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata believes that the arrivals of several members of the Spain national team will only improve the Premier League.
Roberto Soldado has signed for Tottenham Hotspur, while Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo have moved to Manchester City, and Mata has admitted that he is delighted to be joined in England by players that he calls his friends.
The 25-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I am very happy to see them here, and to play them every now and then.
"I think it is very good for the league, because they are top players, they can score and assist, and the likes of Soldado, Navas and Negredo are friends, more than rivals.
"I wish them the best, but obviously not when they play us!"
Mata has made 119 appearances for Chelsea since his arrival from Valencia in 2011.
