Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata vows to return stronger from his Spain snub.

Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata has refused to criticise Spain boss Vicente del Bosque for leaving him out of his latest international squad.

The 27-year-old has scored four goals for the Blues this season, but was left out of the Spain squad for the upcoming World Cup qualification match against France.

Del Bosque admitted that he could not find a place for the former Valencia man in the squad, but Mata has vowed to return to the fold.

"What Del Bosque said is a reality. There are many very good players and competition is hard. I have to work [to] come back, it's up to me," Mata told RMC.

Mata has 19 international caps to his name.
