Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that Eden Hazard is "one of the three best players in the world".
The Belgian has been a vital player for the Blues this season and his goal in their 1-0 victory over Manchester United at the weekend moved the club 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
His performances have earned him a nomination for the PFA Player of the Year award and Mourinho believes that he is good enough to be classed alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
"He knows he is one of the best three players in the world," Mourinho is quoted as saying by the Daily Star. "The responsibility comes and he is dealing with that responsibility.
"Physically, mentally, he's getting very, very strong. He understands that his talent is fundamental for the team."
Hazard has scored 48 goals during his three seasons at Chelsea.
