Loic Remy: Scoring winning goal against Hull City a "great feeling"

Loic Remy, whose strike against Hull City proved to be the difference this evening, admits to being left "frustrated" during his time at Chelsea.

Chelsea striker Loic Remy is hopeful that he sent a message out to manager Jose Mourinho with his match-winning strike against Hull City this evening.

The Frenchman has been restricted to just 16 appearances in the Premier League this season, many of which have come from the bench, although his goal 12 minutes from time proved the difference at the KC Stadium.

Hull managed to bounce back from two goals behind to level things up on Humberside in an explosive first half, before Remy prodded a shot through the legs of Allan McGregor to send Chelsea six points clear at the summit.

"It's a good moment for me so far as it shows great work from all the team and we're working really hard every day in training to get the results and it's important to get this result," he told Sky Sports News.

"It's a great feeling to get the three points. When I was sent on, the manager just told me to get some quality in the final third. It's always frustrating when you're on the bench, but I think having me there made the difference today and you have to be ready to fight and to win games, it's simple."

Chelsea continue their push for the title with a home match against Stoke City in two weeks' time.
