Frank Sinclair: 'Jose Mourinho will be good for Radamel Falcao at Chelsea'

Former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair believes that Radamel Falcao will thrive under Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge next season.

Former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair has backed Jose Mourinho to get the best out of Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian striker recently joined the Premier League champions on a season-long loan from Monaco.

Falcao struggled to impress during a temporary spell with Manchester United last term, but Sinclair believes that the 29-year-old will thrive at Stamford Bridge under Mourinho.

"If there's anybody that can get someone back to their top form, Jose would do that," the former full-back told talkSPORT.

"His time at Manchester United... he had just come back from a really bad injury and was out for a year before his move to Manchester. He wasn't fully fit and he didn't get the opportunity to play and to be fully fit as he didn't play regularly enough."

Falcao scored four goals in 29 appearances for Manchester United last season.
