Tottenham Hotspur warn fans over behaviour

Spurs call on home and away fans to behave themselves ahead of Thursday's match at home to Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur have warned both home and away fans ahead of tomorrow's home match against Chelsea to behave themselves.

Stewards for Thursday's game will be wearing headcams to detect any potential offenders in the crowd.

"A reminder to all fans, both home and away, that foul, abusive, homophobic or racist language will not be tolerated at White Hart Lane," read a statement on the club's official website.

"You do not have to put up with mindless supporters who are intent on ruining your day, so use the system, report the individuals and let us take it from there."

The news comes after Chelsea captain John Terry was charged by the Crown Prosecution Service over racist remarks he made towards Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand in October.
