Queens Park Rangers chief executive Phillip Beard has insisted that Anton Ferdinand's preparations for the new season have not been affected by the John Terry racism trial.
Chelsea captain Terry was found not guilty of racially aggravated assault after Ferdinand accused him of racially abusing him during a match between the two sides last October.
Despite being disappointed with the verdict, Beard is adamant that Ferdinand is focused on football ahead of the Premier League kick off on August 18.
"Anton is looking forward to the season," Beard told Sky Sports News.
"We have just come back from our 12-day tour of Asia. Anton was on great form, as was the rest of the squad."
Ferdinand joined Rangers from Sunderland in 2011.
