Former Real Madrid and Spain boss Julen Lopetegui has reportedly thrown his hat into the ring to become Chelsea's next manager.
The Blues may be after a new head coach for the 2019-20 campaign as Maurizio Sarri, who has come under fire throughout his first season at Stamford Bridge, is rumoured to have agreed to succeed Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus.
According to The Times, one of those in the frame to take Sarri's job in West London is Lopetegui, who has been out of work since being sacked by Madrid in October.
Club legend Frank Lampard is the bookies' favourite to be appointed after an impressive debut season in management with Derby County, while Laurent Blanc, Marcelo Bielsa and Thomas Tuchel are other possible candidates.
Lopetegui has also previously managed Porto, where he spent a couple of years before taking on the Spain job
