Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata says that he would sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco if he were in charge of matters at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata has revealed that he would sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco if he were in charge of matters at Stamford Bridge.

Morata left Real Madrid for Chelsea during the summer, and has scored eight times in 15 appearances for the English giants at the start of the 2017-18 campaign.

The centre-forward is currently on international duty with Spain, and when pressed on which of his international teammates he would like to bring to Chelsea, the 25-year-old selected "the most important player at Real Madrid" - Isco.

"I would take [Isco] to Chelsea now when I return [from the Spanish camp]. But I think that right now he has one of the most important roles at Madrid. In the national team he is also key," Morata told Cadena Ser.

"I think he is unstoppable when he feels important. The whole world has seen it since he took the reins at Madrid. He is the most important player at Real Madrid and in the national team. He changes the games, he makes the difference. He dances with the ball. Furthermore, he is my friend."

Spain will take on Costa Rica and Russia in their two international friendlies.
