Barcelona continue pursuit of Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta?

Barcelona are reportedly keen to push through a deal for Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta after missing out on Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin.

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has reportedly emerged as a top target for Barcelona as they look to replace Dani Alves.

The Brazilian full-back will sign for Juventus ahead of the new season and with Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin - another reported target for the Catalan giants - likely to remain at the Emirates, Luis Enrique continues to look elsewhere.

According to AS, the Barca coach maintains a strong interest in Azpilicueta, who is said to only command a fee in the region of £14m.

The 26-year-old has also been linked with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, but the Spaniard could relish an opportunity to link up with the La Liga champions.

Azpilicueta has made 122 Premier League appearances for Chelsea since joining the club in 2012.
