Chelsea have reportedly struck a deal with Anzhi Makhachkala for playmaker Willian following interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
Spurs were close to clinching the player's signature after the 25-year-old completed a medical and began talks over a five-year deal at White Hart Lane.
However, Chelsea swooped in to scupper the deal yesterday, and manager Jose Mourinho revealed today that Willian has chosen Stamford Bridge over their Premier League rivals.
It is understood that a fee of £30m has been reached between the two parties after agreeing personal terms with Willian within 24 hours, according to BBC Sport.
Reports have claimed that the Brazilian will undergo a medical before having a hearing regarding a work permit next week.
