Anzhi Makhachkala playmaker Willian has reportedly opened talks with Chelsea, despite already completing a medical ahead of a proposed move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Brazilian had been expected to complete a five-year deal at White Hart Lane following the Russian club's decision to put a number of stars up for sale in a bid to cut costs.
Reports emerged today claiming that the player was keeping his options open, and it is believed that Willian is now in advanced talks with Chelsea, who are close to agreeing a fee with Anzhi, according to Sky Sports News.
Tottenham are said to have been ready to break their club record transfer fee by offering £30m for the playmaker.
