Chelsea have reportedly entered discussions with Leicester City over a potential move for N'Golo Kante this summer.
The 25-year-old was one of the star performers of Leicester's unlikely title-winning side last season, with his performances reportedly drawing interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and Arsenal.
The France international has a £20m release clause in his contract at the King Power Stadium, although part of that clause states that Leicester can still sell the player to the highest bidder.
The Telegraph reports that Chinese side Shanghai SIPG have offered the Foxes £35m for Kante, which means that other potential suitors may have to up their own offers accordingly.
The report goes on to state that the player himself has his heart set on a move to Stamford Bridge after rejecting a new £100,000-a-week contract at the Premier League champions.
Chelsea must now negotiate a fee with Leicester, although it is understood that they are unwilling to match Shanghai's £35m bid.
