Chelsea reportedly make it known that they hope to make signings during the January transfer window, despite their existing ban.

Chelsea have reportedly informed a number of agents that they hope to be in a position to make new additions in January.

The Blues were handed a two-window ban earlier this year for breaching regulations regarding signing youth players, and the first part of that was served during the summer.

However, the Premier League outfit are hoping to have their appeal heard before the end of the year as they look to make plans going forward.

According to The Mirror, Chelsea are confident that they will be able to conduct business at the beginning of 2020, partly due to Manchester City escaping any kind of suspension for breaking a similar rule.

This has allegedly resulted in several agents being told to expect the West Londoners to strengthen their squad as they look to finish in the top four of the standings.

Chelsea currently sit in 11th position after winning just one of their opening four matches.
