Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi has reportedly passed his medical ahead of a proposed move to Chelsea.
The 22-year-old has been in high demand this summer, but reports earlier today suggested that he had chosen Chelsea over the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Crystal Palace.
The Blues, who have had a £33.2m bid for the striker accepted, were rumoured to have sent club officials out to France to conduct a medical despite Batshuayi being on international duty with Belgium at Euro 2016.
Sky Sports News now reports that he has passed that medical, paving the way for him to become new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte's first signing at Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi earlier hinted that a switch to West London could be imminent when he followed Chelsea on Twitter.
It was thought that any move would take place after Euro 2016, but Chelsea have acted quickly to beat their Premier League rivals, and Italian champions Juventus, to the striker, who scored 17 goals in Ligue 1 last season.
