Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to end talks for Chelsea target Milan Skriniar.
The Inter Milan defender has been linked with a move away from the San Siro this summer, with PSG believed to be in pole position for his signature.
However, according to L'Equipe, via football.london, the French champions are threatening to walk away from discussions with the Serie A club.
PSG are reluctant to meet Inter's £68m valuation, while the Coppa Italia holders are not prepared to lower their asking price.
A breakdown in negotiations could be a boost for Chelsea, who are still looking for defensive additions after losing out to Barcelona in the race for Jules Kounde.
With PSG cooling their interest in Skriniar, the Blues could make enquiries for the centre-back, although the 27-year-old has indicated that he would be content to remain an Inter player.
The Slovakia international - who has made over 215 appearances for Inter - has one year remaining on his contract.
