Report: Juventus preparing for John Terry swoop

Juventus are reportedly monitoring John Terry's contractual situation at Chelsea with a view to swooping for the England international next summer.

Italian giants Juventus are reportedly keen on luring John Terry to Serie A next summer should the defender fail to negotiate a new contract with Chelsea.

The 32-year-old, whose existing deal expires in June, has seen his future at Stamford Bridge become the subject of some speculation of late, with the club thought to be in no rush over tabling an extension.

Turkish outfit Galatasaray are rumoured to be closely monitoring Terry's situation in London but, according to Italy's Calcio news 24, Gala coach Roberto Mancini faces stiff competition in the form of the Bianconeri for the centre-half.

The reigning Italian champions are no strangers to targeting high-profile free agents, having successfully lured Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba and Fernando Llorente to Turin in recent seasons.

Terry, who made his senior debut for Chelsea in 1998, has made over 500 appearances for the Premier League giants in his 15-year stint in West London.
