Dave Whelan says that Wigan Athletic won't sell Victor Moses to Chelsea unless they cough up £10m.

Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan has insisted that Chelsea must meet the club's £10m valuation of Victor Moses if they want to sign the striker.

The Blues have made clear their interest in the former Crystal Palace forward and have already seen two bids been rejected by the Latics.

While Whelan says that he won't stand in the way of Moses leaving the club, the Londoners won't be able to land the 21-year-old on the cheap.

"Chelsea have been chasing Victor Moses," Whelan told talkSPORT. "They've made a couple of offers which we have refused so it is back in their camp now and we are just waiting to see if they want to up their offer.

"We value him at £10m. Chelsea have obviously got money to spend and are quite keen on Victor but we would like to keep him to be honest.

"But I never stand in the way of a young player like Victor and if Chelsea make the right offer then we shall take it."

Wigan signed Moses for £2.5m from Palace in 2010.
