Colombia manager Jose Pekerman has declared himself 'satisfied' with his side's opening group game victory over Greece.
The South Americans, who boast a squad of players who have never featured in a World Cup finals, were too strong for their opponents at the Estadio Mineirao, racking up a comfortable 3-0 win.
"It was a good debut with players who had never played a World cup. It's a big satisfaction," Pekerman is quoted as saying by ESPN.
"This is how we planned this match. Some things turned out the way we wanted, some things didn't, but we were very concentrated and showed that we're here to play a good World Cup."
Colombia are back in action on Thursday afternoon when they take on Ivory Coast.
