Crystal Palace caretaker boss Keith Millen believes that it is only a matter of time before Alan Pardew officially takes charge of the Eagles.
Pardew has left his position with Newcastle United, but has still not been confirmed as Palace's new manager despite sitting in the stands for Thursday's goalless draw at Aston Villa.
Millen, however, expects the contract to be signed imminently.
"There's no problems at all [over a contract], it's just taking a bit longer than expected," Millen told reporters.
"We're preparing for Alan to take training tomorrow but he'll pick the team. He left training to myself and Ben Garner today, he was in the office sorting things out."
Palace face Dover Athletic in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
