Alan Pardew: 'Yohan Cabaye was great during win over West Bromwich Albion'

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew praises French midfielder Yohan Cabaye for his contribution during the club's 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion.

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew has heaped praise on midfielder Yohan Cabaye following the club's victory over West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.

The French international got on the scoresheet on Saturday afternoon to help secure the South London club's 2-0 victory over the visiting Baggies.

"We approached the game knowing what to expect and we knew we needed to be patient, we played in a controlled manner," said Pardew, according to BT Sport.

"You need someone like Cabaye to orchestrate that and I thought he was great today in everything he did.

"He created the goal at a stage we were starting to worry on the bench and potentially looking for changes."

Palace currently hold third spot in the Premier League table after eight games.
