Derby County boss Nigel Clough has admitted that he is unsure when Jeff Hendrick will return from an ankle injury.
The 21-year-old, who suffered the injury in the league win over Yeovil Town at the weekend, missed last night's League Cup win over Brentford.
"He won't be any good for Saturday but we hope it is not too long after that but we will get that confirmed towards the weekend," Clough told PA.
"He is still in a bit of pain and hobbling around on crutches. We will miss him on Saturday and we missed him against Brentford but Paul Coutts and John Eustace came in and deputised well."
Hendrick is expected to see a specialist on Friday.
