Derby County have cancelled the loan spell of Blackburn Rovers forward Leon Best.
The experienced striker joined the Rams on loan at the start of the season, but has failed to start a single league game for the Premier League hopefuls.
"We would like to wish Leon every success in the future," Derby manager Steve McClaren told the club's official website.
"He has been very unfortunate because Chris Martin has been in great form and we have since added Darren Bent to the squad."
Best spent the second half of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and is again expected to be sent out for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.
