Derby County midfielder Will Hughes is a transfer target for Everton, according to a report.
The 18-year-old has attracted plenty of interest since breaking into the Rams' first team, with Liverpool linked with a move in the January transfer window.
However, Football Direct News claims that the Toffees are hoping to take him to Goodison Park in the summer.
Roberto Martinez is reportedly looking for a replacement for Gareth Barry, who will return to Manchester City at the end of his loan spell.
The report adds that the Everton boss believes that Hughes would suit his style of play, although he will face competition for his signature.
Hughes made his first-team debut as a 16-year-old in 2011.
