Former England captain David Beckham has reiterated his desire to play for Team GB at this summer's Olympic Games.
The 37-year-old, who last played for his country in 2009, is thought to be on a shortlist of players that has been drawn up by manager Stuart Pearce.
"Everyone knows I would love to be part of the GB team," said the Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder.
"I need to keep myself fit and healthy, be in form, and then hope to get selected. I'd love to perform there."
Beckham was one of a number of players honoured for winning more than 100 caps for England during Saturday's 1-0 win over Belgium at Wembley Stadium.
