England captain Steven Gerrard has warned his teammates that Poland will not make it easy for them in the final World Cup qualification group match on Tuesday.
England go into the game knowing that a win will be enough for them to secure top spot in Group H, and Gerrard has urged the squad to use the confidence from Friday night's 4-1 win over Montenegro to finish the job.
"The result against Montenegro will give us a huge lift and it's good for confidence going into the final game," Gerrard told reporters.
"But the message is that the job's half done. Poland are a very good team. They're going to come and do us no favours, like Montenegro, try to make it really difficult for us.
"It's important that we perform to the same level as on Friday night. They'll be coming to Wembley, they'll want to beat England, they'll want to be the team that stops us going to a World Cup. We won't be thinking they're going to take their foot off the gas."
England are currently top of Group H, just one point ahead of Ukraine, who face San Marino in their final game.
