Everton captain Phil Jagielka believes that on-loan striker Romelu Lukaku could be a "magnificent" acquisition for the Merseyside outfit.
The Belgium international signed for the Toffees on a season-long loan from Chelsea on deadline day following his temporary stint at West Bromwich Albion, where he netted 17 goals.
"If he can repeat that sort of form for us it will be magnificent," the Liverpool Echo quotes Jagielka as saying. "I've played against him and he's a big strong striker. He's got pace, he's got power and more often than not he finds the target."
The 20-year-old is ineligible to play for Everton this weekend as they face his parent club on Saturday.
