Everton have reportedly decided to increase their efforts to sign Swansea City playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Toffees have been credited with an interest in the Icelandic international for some time but their recent activity in the transfer market had created the possibility of no further offers being made.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Ronald Koeman is prepared to make a fresh bid of £32m in an attempt to sign the 27-year-old.
Last season, Sigurdsson contributed nine goals and 13 assists in the Premier League, and that has led to Swansea having to prepare themselves for inevitable interest in their star man.
Sigurdsson still has three years remaining on his existing contract, but it has been suggested that he is in favour of a summer switch to Goodison Park.
Everton could have extra funds to spend, with forward Romelu Lukaku said to be closing in on a £75m switch to Manchester United.
