Everton have announced that Kevin Mirallas has been allowed to join Fiorentina on a season-long loan deal.
Mirallas has spent the last six years with Everton, but the Belgium international fell out of favour at the Toffees during the most recent campaign.
That resulted in the second half of the season being spent at Olympiacos, and Everton have now allowed the 30-year-old to link up with another team on a temporary basis.
New boss Marco Silva has been looking to trim his squad before the start of the new Premier League campaign, and the exit of Mirallas could potentially free up space to make a new addition before August 9.
Mirallas joins Fiorentina with the Italian side having only finished in eighth place in Serie A last season.
