Felix Magath: 'Under-pressure Cardiff City could give us advantage'

Felix Magath insists that the pressure is on Cardiff City when Fulham visit them in the Premier League on Saturday.

Fulham manager Felix Magath has insisted that the pressure is on Cardiff City ahead of the crucial Premier League meeting between the two sides on Saturday.

Magath's side are currently bottom of the table, one place below Cardiff, but the German believes that his team will benefit from the Welsh club being expected to take control of the game in front of their home supporters.

"Cardiff is in the worst situation, because Cardiff have a home game and they have to win," Magath told reporters on Friday.

"They are one point better than us. It's not enough for them to avoid relegation.

"They have to win, so it's a good situation for us. I'm convinced that will give us a chance, with counter-attacks, to create chances and to score."

Cardiff claimed a 2-1 win when the two sides met earlier in the season.
