Fulham's Philippe Senderos hints at January exit

Philippe Senderos admits that he could leave Fulham in January if he is not part of Martin Jol's plans.

Fulham defender Philippe Senderos has suggested that he would be prepared to leave the club during the January transfer window.

The Swiss centre-back made just 18 Premier League appearances last season and is yet to be picked by manager Martin Jol this term.

With that in mind, the 28-year-old has claimed that he would look to depart Craven Cottage early next year if he cannot force his way into Jol's plans.

"It's never easy when you are not playing, but it's up to me to fight to change that situation," The People quotes Senderos as saying. "If nothing happens between now and January, I will need to seek another solution."

Senderos joined the Whites from Arsenal back in 2010.
